tomorrow
Breathing in today
exhaling the thoughts of yesterday
Soaking in the promise of tomorrow
hoping that there is no sorrow
Lingering feelings of hope
fading away as if of wisps of smoke
Wistful and wanting
for something but knowing
that this life holds not much more
and that this heart shall remain sore
there will be no comfort in warm embrace
no seeing love in someones [...]

emotions
Heated blood
I cannot seem to cool
With baited breath
I do not want to be made a fool
yet I plead for more
The torture is never ending
I know the truth but
can’t stop pretending
My love is making me spin
I try to ignore it
yet it hits me again
The pain and the pleasure
mixed within
it saturates me

I woke from a nightmare
breathing fast
and so scared
The fear did last
until I made the call

what I saw

daydreaming
I lift my eyes to the cloudless bowl of blue
Sunlight warming my face
as I think of you
you are in another place
I can taste your lips
though I’ve never
felt your kiss
I smile however
as I walk along
