I plan on doing alot more blogging here in the future. I do some on myspace and on Shawnee news star. Which are both great sites.

I am starting my first year as a gardener with the help of my husband. He is alot better at it than he will let on. I like plants but I’ve never had a green thumb so to speak. I am more of an animal person. We have a good sized garden going right now just waiting on everything to really come up. So far we have alot of cucumber, peas, and tomato coming up. We had it all organized before it started to flood and things moved around. We are experimenting with a hanging tomato plant too. He got a huge hanging basket with coconut fiber filling and cut holes for the tomato plants we’d allready started and stuck them through. So far so good. I think we will be more organized next year.

I’ve taken a bit of a break from my artwork to work on remodeling our house. We used our stimulus payment for supplies and I am doing what I call my ADHD style remodeling. I have several projects started all over the house and I keep going back and forth among them. We are even putting some tile up in our shower which so far looks really nice. Got some walls started as far as painting goes. It is too hot sometimes to stay in a certain room though we finally got some a/c going which helps.

I will post more later. This is mainly just to get me started. I’m sorta tired today and my brain isn’t functioning up to par. LOL
